Warranting is the process of confirming that someone has the basic knowledge needed to be successful at a particular job or office. It affirms that the individual is known to their Kingdom or Society superior to be holding that office or position.
In Trimaris, to become a warranted herald and achieve the rank of Herald within the college, we ask that you take three classes. "Part 1: How to be a
Local Herald,” “Part 2: Armory Submissions", and “ Part 3: Name Submissions”. These classes do not have to be taken in order, and are offered online, in person, or a mixture of the two. These classes are designed to teach you the administrative side of heraldry, and after completing these classes you should know where to find the heraldic information necessary to be a successful local herald.
All three classes can be found linked below as well as in the menu. As you read through each one, make sure to explore all of the links and resources offered. At the end of each class, there will be a link to a quiz. Please answer each of the quiz questions thoroughly. Your responses will be sent to the Coracle Herald for review. Coracle will then be in touch to let you know how you did. Once you complete all three classes successfully, you will be advanced to the rank of Herald and added to the rolls of the College.
If you have questions while taking the classes, please don't hesitate to contact Coracle or Triskele for assistance!
