It takes a team of people to accomplish all the tasks necessary to keep heraldry flourishing in the Kingdom. Below are all the officers who take on these tasks, with their job description as well the requirements & responsibilities of the position.

Triskele Principal Herald
The Triskele Herald is responsible for overseeing all heraldic activity within Trimaris. They must meet all standard requirements, but are also responsible for the care and upkeep of the College of Heralds as a whole.
Requirements & Responsibilities:
Must be a paid member in good standing.
Must be warranted and at all times during their tenure, must remain in fealty to the Crown.
Appoint and warrant such Lesser Officers, deputies, and local officers as is necessary to efficiently operate their office within the Kingdom.
Issue reports to the Crown, Kingdom Seneschal, and their local officers on a quarterly basis.
Must attend one Kingdom Coronation, one Crown Tournament, one Arts and Sciences Faire, plus one other Kingdom level event per calendar year after their appointment, for the purpose of conducting meetings for their subordinate officers.
Responsible for training, warranting, and reporting of Lesser Officers and local officers.
Member of the Kingdom Financial committee and are responsible for approving and implementing the Annual Budget.
Responsible for overseeing heraldic education, device submissions, the Order of Precedence, commenting, and all other heraldically related matters.
Jack Herald (Triskele Successor)
The Jack Herald is the named successor to Triskele, once someone has been selected. They must be able to meet all requirements for the office of Triskele.
Seacat Herald (Triskele Secretary)
The Seacat Herald functions as Triskele’s secretary, maintaining much of the paperwork associated with the office.
Since this office must work closely with Triskele, it will be an appointment rather than a standard two-year term. Seacat should touch base with the Jack Herald once they are named to confirm their appointment. Jack may choose to retain the current Seacat, or appoint a new one at the beginning of their term.
Requirements & Responsibilities:
Have served as a local herald and/or have completed the warranting classes.
Maintain and update the roster warrant for the College of Heralds.
Seacat will be expected to provide a current copy of the roster warrant to Triskele the week prior to each major Kingdom event.
Supervise quarterly reporting from all local herald offices.
Post reminders online frequently leading up to the quarterly due date as well as for 5 days after.
Maintain a spreadsheet tracking reporting and have available for Triskele.
Provide notifications for heraldic submissions when an LoAR is published.
Notify all submitters of the status of their submission as determined by Society College of Arms.
Registrations should receive a congratulatory notification with the specifics of what was registered. (i.e. exact spelling, blazon)
Returns should be notified with the reason as provided on the LoAR. Trireme should be copied on these notifications.
Maintain and update the submission tracking spreadsheet.
Updates should be made on a monthly basis and after every major Kingdom event.
All documents that Seacat maintains must be kept in their office email Drive so that they are available for Triskele and future successors.
Coracle Herald (Education)
The Coracle Herald is responsible for heraldic education within Trimaris.
Requirements & Responsibilities:
Maintain and supervise the three warranting classes.
Maintain and supervise all rank advancement quizzes and tests.
Encourage classes at all group and event levels.
Help to maintain and expand (as needed) an online catalog of classes.
Assist local heralds with finding teachers when needed.
Encourage and assist when possible with scheduling heraldic class tracks at teaching-focused events.
Should have an understanding of SENA and be able to answer questions.
Should maintain an active OSCAR account.
Sundial Herald (Protocol & Traditions)
The Sundial Herald oversees the areas of protocol and traditions as applies to heraldic display, ceremonies, precedence, and other relevant areas.
Requirements & Responsibilities:
Maintain a book of ceremonies that meet current Society & Kingdom laws.
This information should be made available to all incoming crowns and baronial nobles.
This information should be accessible by any of the populace who are interested.
Assist with processions and Orders of March as requested and available.
Help to maintain records of important Trimarian traditions.
Lymphad Herald (Name & Device Submissions)
The Lymphad Herald is responsible for all submissions within Trimaris.
Requirements & Responsibilities:
They must be familiar with OSCAR, and have the ability to check it on a regular basis.
They must be a paid member in good standing.
Accept submissions from individuals and groups throughout the Kingdom.
Process submissions in a timely manner.
Work with the Kingdom Exchequer office to make sure that submitter funds are received and submitted in a timely manner.
Create and post an Internal Letter of Intent on a bi-monthly basis.
Create and post an External Letter of Intent on a bi-monthly basis.
Respond to all communications in a timely manner.
Attend KWHSS when possible.
Attend and participate in heraldic consultation at Kingdom events.
Hulk Herald (Submissions Intake)
The Hulk Herald works closely with the Lymphad herald, and is responsible for the administrative side of the submissions process.
Requirements & Responsibilities:
Accept submissions from individuals and groups throughout the Kingdom.
Review all incoming submissions for completeness.
Make sure all required paperwork is included.
Make sure forms are completed correctly.
Make sure that documentation is provided if needed.
They must be familiar with OSCAR, and have the ability to check it on a regular basis.
They must be a paid member in good standing.
Work with Archive, Ensign, and Trireme heralds for consultation and processing of submissions.
Work with local group heralds to make sure submissions are completed properly.
Communicate with other heralds and submitters regarding proper completion of forms.
Work with Seacat Herald to make sure the submission tracking spreadsheet is up to date.
Process submissions in a timely manner.
Respond to all communications in a timely manner.
Attend KWHSS when possible.
Attend and participate in heraldic consultation at Kingdom events.
Archive Herald - (Name Commenting & Consultation)
The Archive Herald is responsible for providing commentary and consultation regarding name submissions.
Requirements & Responsibilities:
Should have good working knowledge and understanding of SENA.
Must be comfortable communicating with submitters both electronically and in person.
Review all Internal Letters of Intent and provide commentary where possible on name submissions.
Review society-wide Letters of Intent on OSCAR and provide commentary where possible on name submissions.
Respond to all communications in a timely manner.
Must maintain an active OSCAR account.
Ensign Herald - (Device Commenting & Consultation)
The Ensign Herald is responsible for providing commentary and consultation regarding device submissions.
Requirements & Responsibilities:
Should have good working knowledge and understanding of SENA.
Must be comfortable communicating with submitters both electronically and in person.
Review all Internal Letters of Intent and provide commentary where possible on device submissions.
Review society-wide Letters of Intent on OSCAR and provide commentary where possible on device submissions.
Respond to all communications in a timely manner.
Must maintain an active OSCAR account.
Trireme Herald - (Name & Device Returns and Resubmissions)
The Trireme Herald is responsible for working with submitters when their items have been returned by Kingdom or Society.
Requirements & Responsibilities:
Should have good working knowledge and understanding of SENA.
Must be comfortable communicating with submitters both electronically and in person.
Follow up on return notification letters to make sure submitters are aware that they are available for assistance.
Respond to all communications in a timely manner.
Must maintain an active OSCAR account.
Caravel Herald (Court/Lyst Herald)
The Caravel Herald is responsible for heralding royal courts and crown lyst.
Requirements & Responsibilities:
Needs to be able to attend all major Kingdom events, and travel to other events when possible.
Should have prior experience doing voice heraldry.
Should be familiar with court protocol.
Must touch base with all incoming crowns to confirm if they will be needed, or if the crown will be using a personal herald.
Unless the crown has a personal herald experienced with court business, attend court business and prepare for Court, assisting the crown with setting the order of the court agenda.
Responsible for making sure that the crown will have a voice herald for all events where they plan to hold court.
Responsible for making sure that all court reports are submitted for royal courts.
Responsible for heralding or making sure there is a voice herald for crown lyst.
Mast Herald (Sign Herald)
The Mast Herald is responsible for silent heraldry in Trimaris.
Requirements & Responsibilities:
Working knowledge of American Sign Language/ASL
Attend and act as silent herald for royal courts as often as possible.
Encourage interest and training in silent heraldry.
Chart-Signet Herald (Scroll Preparation for Court)
The Chart-Signet Herald acts as the crown’s scribe.
Requirements & Responsibilities:
Must be an experienced scribe, proficient in both calligraphy and illumination.
Must be comfortable working closely with crowns regarding upcoming awards.
Responsible for making sure that requested award scrolls are delivered to the crown as needed.
Responsible for publishing a ‘most wanted’ list of scrolls to the College of Scribes on a regular basis.
Must be able to research membership status and correct name spellings.
Attendance at kingdom events required.
Dhow Herald (Award Tokens)
The Dhow Herald is responsible for making or acquiring tokens for Kingdom awards.
Requirements & Responsibilities:
Must be comfortable working with crowns to ensure that they have a supply of award tokens at all times.
Work closely with the Chart-Signet and Caravel Heralds as a member of the Court Business team.
Should be familiar with the current process of making or acquiring award tokens.
Sextant Herald (Order of Precedence)
The Sextant Herald is responsible for updating and maintaining the order of precedence in Trimaris.
Requirements & Responsibilities:
Must be familiar with the online process used to record awards.
Must update the online order of precedence on a regular basis, no less than once per month.
Responsible for resolving any correction requests submitted via the online form or direct email.
Barque-Signet Herald (Scroll Replacement)
The Barque-Signet Herald is responsible for working with populace members regarding missing or lost scrolls.
Requirements & Responsibilities:
Work with the Chart-Signet Herald to obtain any announced award scrolls that were not delivered to the recipient.
Work with the crown and the Chart-Signet Herald to create or acquire any scrolls not previously created for awards that have been given out.
Work with the populace to assist them with receiving their award scrolls.
Work with the populace to assist them with requesting / commissioning replacement scrolls.
Herald Point Coordinator
The Heralds Point Coordinator is responsible for setting up and organizing heralds point at the major Kingdom events.
Scribes Point Coordinator
The Scribes Point Coordinator is responsible for setting up and organizing scribes point at the major Kingdom events.
College of Scribes Chancellor
The Dean for the College of Scribes oversees the college as a whole to make sure that the scribal arts are encouraged and available to everyone within Trimaris.
